How responsible can I be?

Passage: 1 Samuel 4:1-7
Service Type:

Introduction: We just concluded talking about the heart conditions, the factor that says sincerity to ourselves, and the component that puts us in favor with God or away from God. Today we begin to look at the importance of our responsibilities in effectively bringing the plan of God for the ages into effect.
If you and I are sincere with ourselves and with our world, quite certainly the conclusion is that our world is bad already and moving to terrible. The question is HOW RESPONSIBLE CAN I BE to make a difference in my life and the area that God has placed me to serve.
Another realistic concern for the entire world is the massive brutality and hardness of heat by people to take matters into their hands. The ensuing brawl between the police and black citizens, massive theft and killings, the road rage situations. The false worships in churches today and the manipulative structure that is constantly mounting in church and religious settings.
Ove the weekend millions of Christians gathered to pray, praise and glorify God. Thinking about all what was unfolding in the spiritual and religious atmosphere, and thinking on the many situations we face in America, my mine was busy racing trying to understand what will God be saying to us at these crucial moments. (WHY WE FOCUS ON HEART CONDITIONS)
The Good Lord turned my attention to the opening chapters of the book of 1 Samuel when God in his grace was trying to established a structure among people that have completely lost the consciousness of the real mandate of the heart.
